Create a Walk Team
Creating a walk team is the heart of the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk. Individuals come together as a way to support their friend or family member with Down syndrome.
Teams often stretch beyond immediate friends and family to include neighbors, community organizations, religious groups, civic groups and schools. Regardless of who joins, creating a walk team is an effective way to bring even more awareness and funds to Down Syndrome Innovations.
Getting Started
Creating a team is simply signing up as the team captain or leader of the team. To get started use the form below.
Once the team is created, individuals can sign up to join the team. All registered guests will enjoy the day’s activities: Live music and dancing, bounce houses, carnival rides, games, pony rides and so much more. Lunch, snacks, beverages & the 30th anniversary commemorative Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk T-shirt are included in the registration fee.
