Step Up Walk Team Incentives

The 2025 Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk Team Incentives are back.

Along with flash contests, overall team fundraising is an incentive and has its perks on event day. Below are the team incentives for 2025. The incentive levels are based on the total money raised by each team. Team totals include all registrations and donations.

Pick Your Team Tent Location at the Step Up Walk

All Step Up Walk teams that raise $500 will have the opportunity to reserve the location (within the designated team tent area) where their personal pop-up tent will be placed. Teams are responsible for sandbags and weights to keep the tents in place. These items may be dropped off during team t-shirt pick up days/times. The team captain or a designated member of your team will be responsible for setting up the tent, the morning of the event. Tents will need to be labeled and dropped off at Truman Sports Complex during team t-shirt pick up days/times.

Preferred Parking at the Step Up Walk

All Step Up Walk teams that raise $750 will be awarded three (3) preferred parking passes for closer parking access to the event. Preferred parking will be clearly marked in parking lots A & B.

Team Tent Set Up at the Step Up Walk

All Step Up Walk teams that raise $1,500 will have their pop-up team tent set up, the morning of the event. Teams are responsible for sandbags and weights to keep tent in place. These items and the tents will need to be dropped off during team t-shirt pick up days/times at the Truman Sports Complex.

Fast Pass for Two

All Step Up Walk teams that raise $3,000 will receive a Fast Pass wristband for the individual with Down syndrome and a buddy to have fast access to all of the inflatables and mechanical rides offered.

Team Concierge Service at the Step Up Walk

All Step Up Walk teams that raise $5,000 will receive special concierge food service. Your Step Up Walk concierge will bring lunch to your team tent.

Beverages (water), plates, napkins & utensils will also be delivered by the concierge. Your concierge will dispose of all trash for your team.

Professional Tent Set Up at the Step Up Walk

All Step Up Walk teams that raise $7,500 will receive one 20x20 professional tent for the duration of the event.

Tables & Chairs Ready for You

All Step Up Walk teams that raise $10,000 will receive (6) six-foot tableclothed tables and 36 chairs. Tables and chairs will be set up under your professional tent and ready for you the morning of the walk.

Down Syndrome Innovations City Wide Exposure!

All Step Up Walk teams that raise $15,000 + will receive city wide exposure alongside the Down Syndrome Innovations brand! Down Syndrome Innovations will also host a professional photo shoot for your family & the individual with Down syndrome. Photos will be featured within Down Syndrome Innovation’s printed and online marketing materials for 2026. This may include but is not limited to the following:

The Step Up Walk brochure/postcard.
Down Syndrome Innovations websites, social media outlets, and various online and print publications.

Top Team Awards

The top fundraising teams and the teams with the most registered walkers will receive a vinyl banner, custom printed with your team name to display proudly during the event.

The banner is yours to keep forever and ever.
