Welcome to "Anna Banana’s Bunch" page.

We are thrilled to have you join us in celebrating individuals with Down syndrome at this very special event. Your support and fundraising efforts provide therapeutic programs and services for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in our community. Down Syndrome Innovations serves over 1,900 families, 22 hospitals, 45 school districts and dozens of early childhood and adult service provider organizations in Kansas and Missouri. "Anna Banana’s Bunch" would love to have you walk with us. We appreciate all the support we can get! Together make a difference!

A Special Message From "Anna Banana’s Bunch"

This is our 18th year participating in the Step Up for Down Syndrome walk (I know, how is that even possible!). It is our favorite day of the year as we celebrate Anna, all that she means to all of us and all that she has taught us! We also walk to support all of the friends and family in the Down Syndrome community here in in Kansas City. This is a special year as Anna is a Senior in High School! The support we have received over her life from Down Syndrome Innovations (formerly known as the DSG or Down Syndrome Guild) has been a tremendous factor in navigating all the twists and turns that have come our way over the past 17+ years. Programs, resources, education and more have all been a big part of our journey and Anna would not be where she is today without all of that support and the special community that we are a part of. So join us again this year to celebrate Anna, the Down Syndrome community, and support this great organization. If you cannot join us in person, please consider making a donation. Every dollar counts as every program and resource they provide is a critical piece in supporting our loved ones with DS. We look forward to seeing you all on October 22nd!
