Welcome to "Azlynn’s Avalanche and Jordan’s Joggers" page.

We are thrilled to have you join us in celebrating individuals with Down syndrome at this very special event. Your support and fundraising efforts provide therapeutic programs and services for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in our community. Down Syndrome Innovations serves over 1,900 families, 22 hospitals, 45 school districts and dozens of early childhood and adult service provider organizations in Kansas and Missouri. "Azlynn’s Avalanche and Jordan’s Joggers" would love to have you walk with us. We appreciate all the support we can get! Together make a difference!

A Special Message From "Azlynn’s Avalanche and Jordan’s Joggers"

Welcome to year 3 of the combined Jordan's Joggers and Azlynn's Avalanche! The original team, Jordan’s Joggers, has been going strong for about 16 years. This event is one of the largest fundraisers for Down Syndrome Innovations and many children like ours benefit greatly from the services they provide. Last year Azlynn got to experience the in-person event and Jordan was able to volunteer for the first time. It made our hearts so happy to be back at the walk and see the support from our family and friends. We also enjoyed seeing all of our new friends that we found through DSI. If you were unable to attend last year, we would love to have you join in the fun. Jordan is a junior in high school and continues to be the manager for the football team. He enjoys high school and all of the social events that come with it! As you all know Jordan is a social butterfly, so school is right up his alley with all of his friends. Among other things, Jordan continues to enjoy playing softball with his Exceptionals team, his horseback riding lessons, and of course his video games! Azlynn is a 4th grader and loves listening and singing to music. Last school year, Azlynn started dance class at Gabby’s House of Dance and her group is called the ExtraOrdinary Troupe. She is so excited to get it started again. During the summer she enjoyed spending time with her teacher, swimming and going to SOAR camp. She has made so many gains this past school year and we can’t wait to see what happens this year. Thank you for taking time out of your busy life to support our children. It is hard to describe in words the joy you all bring to this event because it means you love our children so much. Love, The Bankson and Lock Families
