Isaac is 15 years old now and we’ve walked almost every year since he was born! Isaac is in 10th grade and only receives speech therapy at school. But at Down Syndrome Innovations he gets weekly OT and behavior services and also he engages in groups and activities with the teen group. We pay for some of this out of pocket and some is covered by your generous donations! The Step Up Walk is a great event to really feel the inclusion of everyone with Down syndrome. You get to see family, friends, and other community members coming together to celebrate those they love with Ds.  Unfortunately we will not actually be walking this year due to another engagement.
