Monday, September 26, 2022, 6:00. Don’t delay, register today to receive your commemorative Step Up walk t-shirt.

Welcome to "Jacob’s Jubilee" page.

We are thrilled to have you join us in celebrating individuals with Down syndrome at this very special event. Your support and fundraising efforts provide therapeutic programs and services for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in our community. Down Syndrome Innovations serves over 1,900 families, 22 hospitals, 45 school districts and dozens of early childhood and adult service provider organizations in Kansas and Missouri. "Jacob’s Jubilee" would love to have you walk with us. We appreciate all the support we can get! Together make a difference!

A Special Message From "Jacob’s Jubilee"

This will be OUR 21st annual walk to celebrate our amazing son, Jacob. Jake is now a 21 year old adult, and living his best life. We are still striving for and working towards independence. Jake attends the ACE (Adult Continuing Education)program that is sponsored by The Down Syndrome Innovations organization. This organization has been our rock and saving grace when it comes to resources and assistance, and we have been members since 2000. These vital resources reach local families in greater KC and surrounding areas. Our goal is to bring awareness and acceptance to all individual with Down syndrome, to recognize their uniqueness and value. We are grateful and immensely honored to have friends and family come out to support and walk in our son's name. Jacob's Jubilee was founded in 2000, the year of Jacob's birth. Jubilee means celebration, and that is exactly what we want to do, celebrate Jake. Whether you can join our team and walk with us, or whether you make a donation in his name. We appreciate YOU. THANK YOU ~ the Doebbeling Family
