When we first found out that Jacob had Down Syndrome we were anxious and worried what the future would hold. Little did we know then what incredible blessings lay ahead. Jacob has brought so much love and joy to our family and anyone who knows him. He has taught us more about what truly matters in life and the gift of unconditional love and acceptance. Jacob is 24 years old and keeps us very busy trying to keep up with his packed schedule. He attends the DSI Youth Apprenticeship Program 2 days a week, Pawsabilities 2 days a week and  works at The Golden Scoop! He participates in most Special Olympic sports and loves to hang out with friends. We look forward to the Step up Walk every year to celebrate Jacob and his friends in the DS community.
