Jan lived an incredibly full and meaningful life, bringing laughter, love, and plenty of personality to everyone around her. She was a proud daughter, sister, and aunt, and she cherished her family deeply. She was active in the Special Olympics and proudly worked at the same BBQ restaurant for many years, becoming a familiar and loved face in her community.
She was a bright light in our family and was never one to shy away from giving you her bold, honest opinion! She always knew what she liked, wasn’t afraid to tell you exactly what she thought, and brought a little extra fun to every family gathering.
Although she sadly passed away, the joy, laughter, love, and unforgettable personality she brought into our lives will never be forgotten. We are walking in her honor, celebrating the incredible life she lived and keeping her memory alive with every step.
We know she’d be cheering us on and making sure we were doing it right!
