Welcome to "Sierra’s Super Duper Sassy Steppers" page.

We are thrilled to have you join us in celebrating individuals with Down syndrome at this very special event. Your support and fundraising efforts provide therapeutic programs and services for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in our community. Down Syndrome Innovations serves over 1,900 families, 22 hospitals, 45 school districts and dozens of early childhood and adult service provider organizations in Kansas and Missouri. "Sierra’s Super Duper Sassy Steppers" would love to have you walk with us. We appreciate all the support we can get! Together make a difference!

A Special Message From "Sierra’s Super Duper Sassy Steppers"

It's been 10 years since our brown eyed beauty was born and we were given the diagnosis of Trisomy 21 aka Down Syndrome. Sierra was also diagnosed with a congenital heart defect in which she would need open heart surgery. Two diagnosis would devastate any parent but just like the meaning of her name, Sierra was "strong willed". This perfect beautiful brown eyed babydoll would not let the diagnosis define her. She has clearly shown just how "strong willed" and sassy she can be. Sierra has taught us more in her seven years than we could ever learn in a lifetime. Sierra has shown us how to be patient, be kind, how to live life to the fullest, and most of all love unconditionally. Sierra has been our little entertainer, our artist, and our heart. We love our Sassy Sierra!
