Join Azlynn’s Avalanche for the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, presented by Down Syndrome Innovations, on Saturday, October 4, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. The ceremonial walk starts at 11 a.m. at Truman Sports Complex, Kauffman Stadium, Lot A, Kansas City, MO.
Azlynn is cruising toward teenager status, and the soundtrack at home is pure Wicked. When she is not singing with Alexa, you can find her deep into busy books, playing with Snake, swimming, or plotting our next trip to Silver Dollar City. She still loves hotel nights so she can cuddle Mom until checkout.
School is a bright spot. She loves middle school, her support team is fantastic, and she is even rocking shoes all day long. In our house, that is headline news and a huge win.
This year’s adventure reel: fearless swims in Gulf Shores, Alabama even with jellyfish, a sky-high stop at the Memphis Pyramid, and many hours of road-trip karaoke that would make Elphaba proud.
