Cooper is 12 years old. He is in 7th grade this year. This will be our 3rd buddy walk. Cooper has the best personality and is a little jokester. He likes to prank everyone in the family including his teachers. He is in General Education in his school. Everyone knows Cooper. He is loved by his family, friends and teachers. He is a friend to everyone. He loves to play basketball. The Chiefs are his favorite team and he loves to watch football. Cooper attended his first concert this year at Star Lite Theatre. He is an only child and I am a single mom. We have to best family support. This walk is another opportunity to raise awareness of how everyone is more alike than different. Every March 21st we rock our crazy socks along with celebrating school wide. Our school shares a different fact about Down Syndrome during the daily announcements during the month of October. We celebrate and embrace Cooper in every way possible.
