Levi’s is 1 year old and this is his second time doing the Step Up walk. His first few months of life were rough with many health issues, but he overcame them with a warrior spirit. He was born with severe anemia that required several blood transfusions. He was also born with 4 heart defects that were causing him to develop pulmonary hypertension. Levi had open heart surgery at just 8 moths old and since has recovered and he is thriving. He greets us with a smile almost every morning. He has recently learned how to sit up on his own and he is curious and adventurous.

The Step-Up Walk gives us an opportunity to celebrate Levi and others like him. It allows us to share awareness about Down Syndrome and to support one another.
