Waiver of Liability: In acceptance of my or my child’s entry to participate in the 2022 Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, I hereby release each of the sponsors as well as Down Syndrome Innovations, the Kansas City Chiefs Football Club, Truman Sports Complex, its parents, subsidiaries, limited liabilities or affiliate companies, shareholders and any affiliated individuals from any and all causes of action, suits, damages, happenings which may relate to the arise is any manner from my participation in the event. I authorize the use of any photographs that of myself or my child may be used for promotional materials for the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk and Down Syndrome Innovations. The event is rain or shine. No refunds.

I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing. I further acknowledge that Down Syndrome Innovations has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and Down Syndrome Innovations cannot guarantee that I—and my family—will not become exposed with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to staff, other patrons and their families.

By voluntarily interacting with and at the Step Up Walk event, I maybe increasing my risk of exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending this service/activity/event.
